35 Years, Day 268

20180925_202448_resizedToday I did a flexibility work out, and I really have gotten quite a bit more flexible in the last few months! I can now comfortably put my hands down when doing a forward fold with straight legs.

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. No. I didn’t fall asleep until 2 AM. I was wired! And thinking about past dalliances and regrets, as you do at 2 AM.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). No, I woke up really late.
◊ I ate breakfast. As I was running really late, I ate breakfast at the school; eggs and toast.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I’ve had… seven glasses of liquid today. I’ve drank a few cans of sparkling water since I got home.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Recess with the kiddos!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive.I wasn’t having negative thoughts so much as being in a mild state of grouchy most of the day.
◊ I connected with someone. I would say I did not connect all that well today. I think I hid it from the kids though.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I finished my book last night, so I read a Real Simple magazine today. Might start a new book tonight.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Yes, I did flexibility training today.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I was pretty bad today because I’ve been bored at work which leads to compulsive email checking.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I will do tonight!
