Today I signed up for five aerial fitness classes for while I’m in New York in a few months. How exciting! Otherwise it was same old today; one thing I noticed in the school library is that gay/lesbian literature is definitely not the taboo that it once was. I had a few students ask me for LGBTQ fiction books, so I ordered several, and they literally flew off the shelves! Kids that are questioning their identity, and kids that are just curious to read something different all had no problem checking it out from me. That has changed in the last twenty years from when I was in middle school/high school, for sure.
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). No I forgot.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I had five glasses of liquid I think; a coffee thermos, a water thermos, and chocolate milk. I’ve been dehydrated at night though.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. No, I got asked to help in the kitchen at lunch instead of go on recess duty.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive.Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm… I think just my hubby.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I’m going to keep reading my book, “The Secret Diary of Hendrick Groen: 83 1/4 years old.”
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I did a little bit of strengthening yoga and planks, but not thirty minutes.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I’ve been planning my NYC trip but that’s done now. Now I just need to sit back and wait for it to arrive!
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I will do tonight!
