35 Years, Day 263

Well, I haven’t written here in a few days! Today I did my yoga splits training; yesterday, aside from practicing more aerial tricks,  I booked a trip to NYC where I’m going to take some aerial classes and visit a friend. I’m already super looking forward to it; I haven’t taken a trip without my hubby in awhile, but I used to travel independently all the time, and sometimes I miss it. This will be a nice mini vacation/retreat!

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). No I forgot.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. Let’s see; I think I drank 6 cups of liquid but it was mostly coffee and decaf coffee; I need to get back in the habit of bringing my water thermos to school.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. No, it rained all day, recess wasn’t even outside!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive.Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm… I think just my hubby.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I’m going to keep reading my book, “The Secret Diary of Hendrick Groen: 83 1/4 years old.”
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Yes I did my flexibility yoga today.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I was pretty good, although I’ve been a little bored at work so I did a little internet surfing there.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I will do tonight!
