35 Years, Day 256

Today was mix-match day at school; one of the weird dress-up days leading up to homecoming. I was pretty low energy – I was too wired last night to go to sleep. I really like doing aerials on my own on Wednesday night, but, it makes for a long day and getting home late.

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Not really; the cats were bugging me and I didn’t fall asleep til 12:30.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I think I’m at five cups of liquid including twelve ounces of sparkling water.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Recess with the kiddos.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive.Yes for the most part but I’ve been somewhat irritable today. I really don’t like distracting noises! For example, I have no idea how people read or study with music on.
◊ I connected with someone. My cat? She’s climbing all over me right now as I type this.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I’m going to start a new romance novel. Oh! I just realized there was a new property brothers season on Amazon Prime so I watched an episode; it is getting so formulaic though; I feel like the show is just going through the motions.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. No. I’m really low energy. I’m just going to climb into bed and read the rest of the night after this.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I was pretty good today.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I will do this evening!
