35 Years, Day 253

Today I was a little bored in the library… I have to make things for myself to do sometimes, but it’s better then being too busy all the time!

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes… but I was up late because even though I didn’t watch the Packers/Bears game, I followed the score on my phone. My husband is a Bears fan and I am a Packer fan and it’s just too uncomfortable to watch those games together. It’s the only time we are happy when the other person is sad and it’s weird! He would have been irate the Pack came made a crazy come back and I would have been sitting in the corner of the couch going… “yay!” But not too loud since I would feel a little guilty for being happy, lol. You see the issue?
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). No I forgot.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I’m at six cups of liquid including two cans of sparkling water.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Recess with the kiddos. It’s still really nice out!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive.Eh, for the most part. I felt kind of guilty today for complaining about the Packer/Bears issue at lunch today. Because the Packer’s have been the better team more often then not for the last twenty years, even when the Bears do good against the Pack, my hubby complains and says, well, I’m sure the Bears will screw it up by the end, they always do! And stuff like that. Anyway. I wish we liked the same team, or different teams in completely different divisions!
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm…  how about my cat today. She’s curled up on my arm right now, making it harder to type.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. Hmm…. yoga I guess.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I did yoga for 45 minutes; a balancing workout on Amazon Prime, and then part of a shoulder strengthening workout.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I got sucked into the internet when I got home. I was looking at some books to buy for the school. Need to keep a firmer work/life separation!
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night, and will do tonight!
