35 Years, Day 252

20180909_141427_resizedToday was an okay day; without this blog I probably would have stayed inside all day, but instead I went to a State Park and perked up a little bit. Then I came home and watched the movie version of “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before,” which was adorable. This might be the first time I think the movie is better than the book? Although the book was good too! The movie was faithful to the book, and I thought the little tweaks made it even better.

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes although it took me forever to fall asleep.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch. Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk. You’d think I could have changed this up for the weekend? But no.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. Let’s see… I think I’m at five cups of liquid again. Two cups of coffee/milk, some sparkling water, and my thermos of water. Who knew this would be so hard? Maybe I just need to designate a few times a day that I chug a whole thermos of water.
20180909_144614_resized◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Yes to the State Park for a short walk and some yoga.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. I was feeling pretty blue today; worrying about a year from now when we move to Canada when I may or may not be pregnant and also be looking for a new job. The State Park Yoga did help to pull me out.
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm…  my hubby!
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. As mentioned above… if you like rom-coms at all, even if you are not anywhere near high school age, watch “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” on Netflix!
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I walked for about fifteen minutes and did a half hour of yoga at the state park.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I started off on the wrong foot this morning but have been pretty good most of the day. Now it is Packers/Bears playing football tonight. It will be unbearable to watch because I grew up in Wisconsin and am a Packer’s fan and my husband is a Bear’s fan and really hates that the Packer’s win more often then not and is just so… I wish the game had been on during the day; I would have gone to the state park by myself and let him watch and stew and fret by himself.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I forgot last night, but will do tonight!
