35 Years, Day 247

Today I tried “Speed Book Dating” with the high school students, where they picked out books they might like and traded them with their friends til they were happy with their choices, and I did head-stands with the elementary kids at recess.

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes. I keep sleeping through my alarm! I wear ear plugs at night, and I think my alarm is at just the right frequency that I don’t hear it, even though it’s pretty loud.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I’m at six cups of liquid; coffee/milk, a thermos of water, milk at school, and I’m working on another thermos of water.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Recess with the kiddos! We did cartwheels and I did a head-stand against the side of the school.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm… it was nice spending time with the high school students today; I spend most of my time with elementary. They are lot more chill. I get interrupted way less.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. Hmm. I am going to start re-reading Widow Basquiat tonight. It is my favorite book.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I didn’t yet but I’m going to do some yoga as soon as I finish this blog.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I started poking around the internet at 5:45 but I will be done by 7:15!
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night, and will do tonight!
