35 Years, Day 240

Today I spent the school day making a list of books by genre that the high school students might want to check out from the library, and then came home and did a core yoga workout.

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Sort of. It took me a good while to fall asleep.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I did really bad today. I forgot my water thermos so I’ve only had three cups of liquid today; probably four including the milk in my cereal bowl, that I usually don’t count…
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. A half hour of recess with the kiddos!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. Hmm… the fourth grade teacher is a pretty cool person! I chatted with him at recess today.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I watched another “Stay Here” episode on Netflix.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I did a “core Yoga” workout; those stacked side planks are hard!!
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: Well I forgot my phone at home today so I was extra good! Checked it for maybe five minutes at four thirty today but otherwise yes, I’ve only been on since I started typing this blog.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night, and will do tonight!
