Today is filed under “things I do on the recess equipment that I wouldn’t allow the school kids to do.” Ha ha! My hubby and I went for a walk and stopped by the recess area of the school; I practiced a few aerial moves on the swings (can’t do much with chains), and practiced some ab moves on the monkey bars, lifting my legs up with my core muscles. Gotta get stronger if I’m going to learn more aerial tricks!
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes! Being that it is Sunday, I actually had the luxury of waking up at seven, eating breakfast, then going back to sleep til ten. Hope I didn’t mess up my sleep cycle for tonight.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk. (Twice. Once at seven, once at ten.)
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. Let’s see; my coffee/milk was three cups, a glass of water at lunch… I’ve got some work to do in this department.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. It was cloudy so no sunshine, but yes, my hubby and I went for a walk. Now it is storming as I type this!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. Just my hubby!
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I did yoga, I watched a new netflix show with Genevieve Gorder called “Stay Here,” and I read some of Parker Posey’s new memoir. She’s nutty, in a good way!
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Our walk was for about an hour, and I did a half hour of yoga, and then I tried the crow pose again but I didn’t have the patience for it today. I have to be really focused to hold it even for a few seconds!
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I haven’t been perfect, in that I did check my phone a few times today. But I waited until six to open up my laptop and start my blog.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night, and will do tonight!
