Today was a good day! I’m so glad I found Aerial Yoga and a teacher that doesn’t mind throwing in Aerial Circus tricks too! It’s become something to look forward to every week. I think it’s in my DNA? My Dad had a set of gymnast rings in our garage when I was growing up, with a mattress for a crash pad on the floor. I think he still has the rings in the garage, actually! And now he’s doing Qi Gong, and I’m doing Yoga… he has Parkinson’s now but he keeps super active. His Dad had it too. Honestly if I get it too, at least it will be a “Devil you know” sort of thing. It’s something you can live with for a long time, and diet and exercise really help.
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes! That’s three nights in a row. A record?
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. Let’s see my coffee/milk was two cups, my thermos of water was two cups, and my chai tea was two cups. So six glasses of water so far. I’ll fill my thermos one more time.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Not really today, unless you count waiting outside after a hair cut…
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. The person that cuts my hair? And my Aerials teacher.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. Aerial Yoga/Aerial Circus!
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Aerial Yoga was an hour and a half today, since we played around and made videos after!
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: Yes I waited til six to start typing this blog! Ha ha.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night, and will do tonight!
