35 Years, Day 232

Today I worked all day and ended it with a back-to-school color run!

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes sort of… I was coughing a lot from allergies but I took some benadryl and dropped off about midnight.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee and milk.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. A glass of water and coffee/milk in the morning, a diet snapple at lunch… and that’s it…I’ve got some work to do!
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. I did a 5K Color Run back-to-school today!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes for the most part.
◊ I connected with someone. A little 4-year-old at the 5k that was upset that her siblings left her behind so I stuck with her for the rest of it.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. Well I’ve been working literally all day but I’m home now so tonight I’ll read more of my current book, “Maeve in America.”
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I don’t think it was a full 5k because the four-year-old and I were done in 30 minutes, but yes I ran/walked for 30 minutes.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: Yes! I was at work all day and I did have to use my work email twice. I won’t count work related tasks for this blog as long as I don’t stray onto the rest of the internet or use my phone internet.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night and will do tonight!
