Today was another workday but now it is the weekend!! Last year when I started back to work I also started two online grad classes, so it was a jolt. This is easier. I’m always home by 4:10. Tomorrow I get to go to Aerial Yoga and maybe the pool after; it will almost be like its still summer!
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Nope, tossed and turned from either allergies or fire smoke and also maybe just getting started at the school again.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with a thermos of coffee and milk that went to school.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. No… let’s see. Two cups of coffee/milk, a can of diet Dr. Pepper, and a cup of tea when I got home. I guess four and a half. I’ve got some water to drink!! No wonder I’m feeling sluggish!!
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Not unless you count our walk too and from school which is about five minutes each way. Which I won’t count on here, generally. However whenever we finally move to the new school it will be a fifteen minute walk, and I will count it if I do that!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. Yes mostly. I’m a lot more…. zen at the moment about the school year starting than usual. We’ll see if that holds when the kids show up!
◊ I connected with someone. Lots of people at school! The home-ec teacher chatted with me for awhile.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I’m totally into the book I’m reading right now, “The Kiss Quotient.”
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I spent several more hours carrying boxes of books back to book shelves and putting books on shelves.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I was actually really good today.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night and will do tonight!
