35 Years, Day 223

Acid Wash JeansToday I went to my Aerial Yoga class, but… the teacher didn’t show up! So since I had attended the most times and there were a few newbies, I led everyone else in some basic moves. I hope the teacher is okay? It’s really unlike her to just not show up. Then I went shopping, and… it appears that the 90’s are back in the Junior’s department! As a person who actually shopped in the Junior’s department in the 90’s, I don’t get it. I think fashion has come a long way since then!

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. Nope, tossed and turned and the cats woke me up. It needs to get back to the basics tonight. I did okay for a few nights when I did my evening stretch, wrote in my worry journal, read a bit, and took diphenydramine. I’m also a little late with this blog post. Should have been off the internet an hour ago.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes
◊ I ate breakfast. Shredded Wheat and Raisin Bran mixed together, along with coffee, milk and sugar.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I think I did get to eight glasses of liquid but half of that was my coffee drink and redbull… so not really.
Sunflowers◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Yes! My hubby and I got out for a walk this evening and took this sunflower picture. We are in a heat wave. I’m up in North Dakota, and it hit 100 degrees today.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. For the most part, yes.
◊ I connected with someone. The other people in my aerial yoga class; it was sort of fun playing the teacher for a day.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I finished my book, Plainsong. It was pretty good! It didn’t really resolve itself, but maybe that was partially the point. Life is never really tied up in a bow.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Yes showing the other students some basic aerial yoga and then monkeying around took about an hour and was tiring! And then my hubby and I went for a half hour walk.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: Tomorrow I’m going to try very hard to stick to this!! This includes my phone internet!!
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night and will do shortly!
