35 Years, Day 221

Today we bummed around a town in central Canada and I would say… the town is a little Sushi.jpggritty? I like it… it’s not a pretty town. It seems a little run down in parts. But also, it has a lot going for it; there are a ton of ethnic restaurants; we had sushi yesterday, Ethiopian for lunch today, Gyros/Kebabs for dinner, and are planning on a Ukrainian restaurant tomorrow. We saw some music downtown this evening, and tomorrow I found a dance studio where I’m getting a private lesson in Aerials. Yay!

Energy Checklist

◊ I got enough sleep last night. No… it was a big comfy bed but I tossed and turned on two-thirds of it while my hubby slept soundly on the other third. I didn’t take my dyphenhydromine last night. I’m going to add that back into my arsenal tonight.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes
◊ I ate breakfast. It was not the best hotel breakfast ever; a well done waffle and some extra greasy bacon.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I’d say I had maybe five glasses of liquid; two coffees and quite a bit of water with lunch and dinner at restaurants.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. We went walking along the river by the visitor’s center today, and there was an outdoor concert this evening.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. For the most part, yes.
◊ I connected with someone. Just my hubby! Our school jobs start back up next week; this section will be more interesting then. Ha ha.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. We came back to the hotel and had a good afternoon read.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Our walk this morning was about thirty minutes, I also found a community swimming pool (the gritty part; diving board was roped off with caution tape, the nice part, lots of families were there enjoying the pool anyway!). And some impromptu yoga when we got home for the evening!
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: No but I was pretty good; did check Facebook on my phone a lot but didn’t “stay” on.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did last night and will do shortly!
