35 Years: Day 215, 216 and 217

Well I was at a family reunion all weekend so I’m going to cheat and post for the whole weekend in this one post. Back to the usual tomorrow. The Patriarch of the family reunion was born in 1859!! (He’s dead now.)

Energy Checklist
◊ I got enough sleep last night. For the last three nights I haven’t been sleeping in my own bed. So not particularly! I also didn’t have my normal “wind down” routines going, with my bed time stretches and worry journal. It might seem like overkill, but I think it is going to help me so I’ll be back at it tonight.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes
◊ I ate breakfast. Oh man. I had sugar breakfast every morning. Starbucks Medium Mocha with half the chocolate and a blueberry muffin.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I didn’t keep track, but I tried to drink a lot of water at lunch and dinner. Maybe averaging five cups a day.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Let’s see… Friday, no, we were driving to the reunion. Saturday, yes, my niece and I took out “hydro-bike” boats out on the lake. Sunday, well, on the way back from the reunion we played with my husband’s Dad’s new puppy in his backyard!
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. I think I did okay. It was actually a really fun reunion; I had close relatives there and also third cousins; my niece had fourth cousins!
◊ I connected with someone. I connected with a whole lot of people!! Relatives I didn’t even know I had!
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. The hydro-bikes with my niece was fun and relaxing.
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. Friday, we had a “dance party” and seriously, it was fun. People of all ages got down. We did the twist, we did the macarana, we did the electric slide, we did it all. Saturday was hydro-bikes with my niece. Today I didn’t do anything as I was in the car most of the day. But tomorrow I will get back on track!
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: I was hardly on the internet at all as I was busy being uber-social! It was probably good for me!
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did not. But I will do tonight. Time to get back on track!
