35 Years: Day 214

This is a quick post being done earlier than normal as I’ll be at a family reunion the next few days, and may or may not have internet access. I’ll be back Sunday to do a recap if need be!

Energy Checklist
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Yes, but I stayed up too late and got my 8 hours of sleep from 1AM to 9AM. My body could tell the difference instead of 11PM to 7AM! I need to find a more boring book to read at night, lol.
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes.
◊ I ate breakfast. Oatmeal with frozen berries mixed in, my hubby’s favorite. And coffee of course!
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. I’m at 5 right now but its only 4 PM.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Well… I tried to sunbath by our cropped-20180612_195201_burst01_resized.jpgpropane tank in the back yard, but some sweat bees started bugging me. The propane tank is cute though, right? It was one of my projects this summer.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. I’m having some anxiety about leaving my cats for a few days. Which is funny because I was a world traveler in my twenties and left my cat with surrogate parents for months on end. But now the one I’ve had the longest is 14 and I’m becoming more of a helicopter pet mama!
◊ I connected with someone. Just my self today. I have talked to no one! My hubby isn’t even here!
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I did a yoga video on Amazon Prime and realized I am practicing for headstands all wrong and better work on core muscle and shoulder strength before attempting head stands again!
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. When my sunbathing didn’t work out I went walking on a running track near here for forty five minutes, and then did the “working towards a head stand” video for twenty minutes.
◊ I only went on the internet between six to eight PM: This is seriously the thing I’m worst at. I don’t know why I put this on here as I’ve not even tried to adhere to it. In an ideal world I would adhere to it. I need to adhere to it. #goals. Well, the family reunion and possibly no access to the internet could be the reset button I need.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I did it last night and will do before bed tonight!
