It is my husband and I’s third anniversary! We ate Mexican food and rented a hotel room to celebrate.
◊ I got enough sleep last night. Not really. I stayed up too late reading, then couldn’t fall asleep so at 12:30 I went to sleep in the other room, which I do sometimes when I’m tossing and turning. I need space to thrash around! Woke up about 7:30 feeling groggy. I am not someone that survives on little sleep. I like a full, uninterrupted eight hours. Or nine?
◊ I energized with my morning stretch (detailed in book). Yes
◊ I ate breakfast. The usual! A big wheatbix, raisin bran over the top of that, with milk, and a cup of coffee.
◊ I drank eight glasses of water. No. Probably four cups again, counting coffee, sparkling water, and water at the restaurant we ate at. Does milk in my cereal count? I won’t count it.
◊ I got outside for some fresh air and sunshine. Yes, I walked a few laps around the running track near by.
◊ If I caught myself in a negative thought, I turned it positive. I didn’t really thing about it today. I’ll think about it tonight, that’s when the dark cloud descends reminding me that everyone I know and love, including me, will die someday.
◊ I connected with someone. Just my husband today! Well, the neighbor came to the door but I was in my pajamas not wearing a bra so it was embarrassing.
◊ I did something fun or relaxing, just for me. I finished a book that was only so-so. But I will be getting a bunch new at the library tomorrow!
◊ I worked out for thirty minutes or more. I think so, if you count both the walk on the running track and taking a dip in the hotel pool, swimming back and forth several times.
◊ I only went on the internet from six to eight PM: Uh, no. But not too bad because I was out with my hubby a lot of the time.
◊ I did my bedtime stretch (detailed in book.) I forgot the book. But I will do what I remember!
